Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer, who was born in the Gambia, has taken to social media to attack those who are making fun of her after her husband, Olakunle Churchill, and his ex-wife, actress Tonto Dikeh, recently reconciled.

Meurer said in a series of posts on her Instagram story that since the situation is about her life and story, it is time for her to take charge of the narrative of people messaging her directly and leaving comments on her page.

She declared that she would not be silent and live in servitude.

“You think I’ll be quiet and die inside, living in bondage?” Meurer asked. Na love, I love. I don’t kill people, and if (God forbid) something happens that makes me feel uncomfortable in a marriage, I will leave without you idiots being the cause.

“You all open your mouths to explain to me why I should say this or that! I should not be honest. It’s acceptable when you post garbage on my page every day about which you have no knowledge. However, you really want me to tell you the truth when it’s time, so I should remain silent,” she continued.

The actress also refuted rumours that she was once Tonto Dikeh’s friend or her husband’s personal assistant, and she chastised trolls who left comments on her page.

“You think people are fools,” she said. Every day and night, all of you idiots sit and sourly comment on my page about how I stole my friend’s husband or that I was a PA when I wasn’t, and you don’t want me to tell the truth? I’ll have to put up with the lies.

“Eke market day, you evil witches will come out and say shit all the time because I chose to be quiet, but this is the height of it. Since then, I’ve been on my own, minding my own business and respecting myself. No one will advocate for me if I don’t. “Make me afraid to say what happens,” she continued.

A few weeks after the couple’s reconciliation, which included a public reunion with their son, King Andre, Meurer denied being friends with actress Tonto Dikeh, her husband’s ex-wife.
