    Tems and Burna Boy Set New Record for Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries by African Artists

    Tems and Burna Boy, two Afrobeats singers, have made history by surpassing a South African group to become the African artists with the most entries in the Billboard U.S. Hot 100. seether.

    With their appearances on J. Cole’s album “The Fall-Off”, the pair gained new entries on the chart. “Bounce Road Blues”, which featured Tems and Future, debuted at number 34, and “Only You”, which featured Burna Boy, debuted at number 78, bringing their total to eight entries.

    Tems is currently the most-entered African artist of the year with three Billboard Hot 100 entries.

    Remember how she tied Burna Boy and Seether as the first African female artist to achieve seven Billboard Hot 100 entries?

    With entries in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, Burna Boy has also accomplished a noteworthy feat: he is the first African artist to have a song on the Billboard Hot 100 for six years in a row.

    Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026) are some of his entries over the years.
