    Family Releases Burial Details Of Popular Gospel Singer, Omije Ojumi

    Bunmi Akinnaanu, also known as Omije Ojumi, a late gospel singer, will be buried on a set date, according to her family and friends. The family and friends of the late gospel singer, Bunmi Akinnaanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi, have released the schedule for her final burial rites.

    It should be noted that Omije Ojumi died on January 12 after a long battle with a serious leg condition.

    The singer’s death comes just months after she publicly requested prayers and healing while dealing with a medical condition.

    Alayo Melody, a gospel singer, announced Omije Ojumi’s burial arrangements on Instagram on Saturday.

    The ceremonies will begin on Tuesday, January 20, with a service of songs at the LTV 8 grounds in Ikeja, Lagos.

    The post stated, “Good night, God’s General Bunmi Akinnaanu Omije Ojumi.”

    Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.

    Time: 10 a.m.

    Lanre Alewilese, a close friend and colleague, has shared the singer’s experiences before her passing.

    In a viral video, he explained that in the weeks leading up to her death, Omije Ojumi was unable to open her eyes or speak, demonstrating how serious her condition had become.

    He stated that watching her suffer was extremely painful.

    Alewilese stated that he chose not to make her health issues public while she was alive.

    He explained that there was no good news to share at the time, and informing the public would have only increased fear and worry without providing any hope.

    He went on to say that her struggle was difficult to witness and that keeping it private was his way of protecting both her dignity and her fans.
