The management of Nollywood singer and actress Angela Okorie has denied reports that she was arrested once more following her release from Suleja Correctional Centre. Moving Train Entertainment, Angela’s agent, reportedly confirmed the actress’s current freedom in an official statement issued on February 3, 2026.
According to the statement, all of her bail requirements have been satisfied.
The management urged the public to only rely on verified and reliable sources for updates on the situation, characterising the recent reports about her rearrest as false and deceptive.

After fellow actress Mercy Johnson Okojie filed a petition, Angela Okorie was first detained in Lagos on January 26, 2026, and then allegedly moved to Abuja to face charges of cyberstalking and cyberbullying.
Okorie is a well-known singer and actress from Nollywood.
Her acting career began in 2009, and she soon gained recognition for her parts in drama and action films.
Angela is renowned for her daring performances and versatility in both acting and music, and she has starred in more than 80 Nollywood films.
