Actress Lilian Afegbai has opened up about her private nature, revealing that she keeps her relationships and personal life entirely hidden, even from her closest friends.

“I am a very secretive person, and I do not care if you say I am untrustworthy; however, I will not discuss my personal life with you,” she stated.
The actress explained that her guarded personality stems from childhood trauma, which has caused trust issues.
Afegbai says she’s currently seeking therapy to address these issues and considers herself a work in progress.
“I just have serious trust issues stemming from childhood trauma. I’m even addressing it now by seeing a therapist, and I’m still a work in progress,” she explained.
Afegbai emphasised that people frequently misunderstand her because of her outgoing personality, pointing out that having many friends does not imply she is close to everyone.
“People assume that because I have so many friends, I am close to everyone. “I am not like that at all,” she stated.
