Samuel Perry, also known as Broda Shaggi, a well-known Nigerian comedian and social media influencer, was reportedly shot while filming a comedy skit in the Sango-Ota region of Ogun State. As a result, he was admitted to the hospital.
According to reports, the incident happened on Sunday afternoon while the performer and his production crew were filming material beneath the Sango-Ota bridge.
According to people familiar with the situation who spoke with Vanguard, the comedian was shot while filming.
The performer was taken to the hospital right away after the incident, according to a police source who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not permitted to comment on the situation.

The injured comedian was first brought to Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko region of Lagos State, where he was given first-aid care, according to the source.
For additional medical care, he was subsequently sent to Duchess Hospital, which is situated in Ikeja’s Government Residential Area.
He is presently recovering at the facility, according to sources.
When contacted, Oluseyi Babaseyi, the Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, stated that the incident had not been officially reported to the command.
He stated over the phone, “The incident was alleged to have occurred in Ogun State, but it was not reported.”
