Victor Eriabie, a veteran Nollywood actor, passed away. At the age of sixty-three, he died early on February 17. Fans and colleagues in the film industry were in mourning after word of his passing spread.

Due to his prominent role in Nigerian films, Eriabie gained popularity in the 1990s and early 2000s. He became well-known thanks to the film series Izozo, which chronicled the difficulties that victims of human trafficking face. The movie series put him in the public eye and was well-received at the time.

His remains have been transferred from Lagos to Aghalope, Delta State, where he was born. In the days ahead, family members are anticipated to make funeral announcements.

The late actor attended the University of Port Harcourt and graduated. He developed a career outside of acting over the years. He was a radio host, television host, and film producer.

In addition, he worked as a playwright and the CEO of a media company, and he was involved in media production and communications.

He starred in films like 2023’s Unforgivable and Love in a Pandemic in recent years. He was still involved in the entertainment industry even though he wasn’t as active as he was in his early career.

Eriabie took part in a lot of media and film projects during his tenure in Nollywood. His early writings, particularly Izozo, brought social issues impacting women and young girls to the public’s attention.

The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed by his family. It is anticipated that more information regarding his funeral plans will be released shortly.
