Nigerian music legend Tuface Idibia, better known by his stage name 2Baba, has acknowledged that one of his hardest personal challenges has been balancing his music career with raising his kids.

According to reports, the award-winning singer revealed this during an interview with Voice of Nigeria in which he talked about the demands of celebrity and his paternal responsibilities. The award-winning singer reportedly disclosed this in an interview with Voice of Nigeria, where he discussed the burden of fame and his duties as a father.

2Baba stated that while he feels happy and fortunate to have eight children, he is disappointed by his lack of time to spend with them.

In his own words, “I now have eight children,” I feel fortunate and content, but I’m also sad that I haven’t been able to spend the kind of time I should have with them all together. It has an impact on me occasionally.

“They are wonderful, intelligent individuals. All I want is to be there more. It affects me in every way.

The iconic singer emphasised that he is a lover boy and not a womaniser, dispelling common misconceptions about his personal life.

“The biggest misconception that people have about me is that I’m a womaniser,” he said. I’m simply direct; I like women. I’m a lover boy, though. I’m a hard lover.

Additionally, he addressed public criticism of his wife, Natasha, specifically claiming that she is unduly domineering or heavily influences his choices.

The singer claims that these assertions frequently fall far short of the reality of their relationship.

“Everyone has a say in everybody’s business now,” 2Baba observed. There are times when people say really hurtful things.

You develop a thick skin, but occasionally it affects you. She is a strong, intelligent woman, and reality is reality.

2Baba went on to say that even though he has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world, he is inherently shy.

“My job doesn’t allow me to be shy, but I’m a really shy person,” he continued.

There are moments when I just want to relax by myself. I’d like to hang out at other times. I enjoy the outdoors; I get my moments.
