Controversial singer Portable has shared private messages with his former partner, Queen Dami, to counter her claim that they are no longer in a romantic relationship.
He reportedly shared the conversations on his social media page, but he later removed the post. It was reported that he posted the chats on his social media page, though the post was later deleted.
The messages, which were dated January 1, 2026, showed that Portable had transferred ₦200,000 to Dami. She then thanked him for the assistance.
The singer claimed that the conversations served as evidence that he had continued to provide for her and cover her costs.
He lamented that the women in his life frequently don’t appreciate him in spite of everything he does for them, adding that he doesn’t lie and has been paying her bills up until recently.
“I do a lot for them, but they don’t appreciate it,” he wrote. Make sure you try to appreciate the people who are helping you. Don’t lie, King. Why don’t you go? What do you want me to tell you? Why do you lie? Your bills are still paid by me. Why do you lie and claim that I don’t exist anymore? “
In a live video earlier this week, Portable had accused Queen Dami of publicly denying their relationship.
He said he spent many nights with her and that they had been reconciled for a while.
He questioned why she would claim they were no longer together, adding that he had been providing for her.
In response, Queen Dami posted a screen grab of a petition she had submitted against the singer.
She referred to him as her ex and made it apparent that they are not dating.
She called such stories untrue and denied that they were dating or that she had come to see him for sex.
Dami cautioned Portable to refrain from spreading erroneous and sexually suggestive rumours about her, stating that she has moved on with her life.
She also sent out another legal notice, threatening to take legal action and possibly make financial claims against the singer unless he retracted and corrected his statements.
When Dami was spotted with Portable following the death of the Alaafin of Oyo, the two went public for the first time.
The singer acknowledged their relationship in a 2023 interview, stating that before her husband’s passing, she had only been a fan. Later, on Valentine’s Day, Dami publicly celebrated their relationship by referring to Portable as her man and publicly showing her love for him on social media.
There was a public backlash after their relationship soured.
However, months after a contentious online altercation that drew harsh criticism, Queen Dami and Portable made up early last year.
During that period, Portable stood up for her and criticised those he believed were attempting to demolish his house.
