Earlier in 2025, Asake faced harsh criticism after his baby mama, Adijat, accused him of neglecting him despite being there for him when he had nothing.
Asake’s father, stroke survivor Fatai Odunsi, also criticised him in March 2025 for leaving him.
Asake contacted his father after receiving criticism from online users, including some celebrities, and pledged to pay his medical expenses and purchase a home for him.
On Friday morning, though, a popular picture of the singer and his father appeared online, indicating a reconciliation.
Asake was reunited with his daughter and his baby mama a few days prior to this.
