Grammy Award-winning Afrofusion musician Burna Boy’s associate Rahman Jago has declared his conversion from Christianity to Islam.
A video of Burna Boy thanking Allah was posted by Jago, which sparked heated discussions and reactions among fans and followers.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari aide Bashir Ahmad posted a comment on the video of Burna Boy praising Allah, calling him “so happy,” and wishing him ease in his Islamic journey: “May Allah (SWT) make it so easy for him.”
Ahmad responded to a fan’s question about whether Burna Boy had actually converted by saying that while some of the singer’s friends said he had, Burna Boy hadn’t made an official confirmation.
However, Rahman Jago wrote, “He converted.” Burna Boy is now a Muslim, stating unequivocally that he has converted to Islam.
In a recent podcast, Christian Burna Boy said that he had “at some point” converted to Islam in search of the truth.
He shared his thoughts on creation in a livestream with Plaueboymax, confirming his conversion.
