The first grandchild of gospel singer Tope Alabi’s daughter, Ayomikun Alabi, and husband, Oluwole Bantale, has been born. Gospel singer Tope Alabi has announced the birth of her first grandchild from daughter Ayomikun Alabi and husband Oluwole Bantale.
Alabi thanked God and expressed happiness in an Instagram post, calling the occasion a dream come true.
“I will always be thankful to God for this happy addition to my family. Alabi wrote, “Yes, Ayomiku, ayo si kun inu mi.”
She expressed her pride in her daughter and complimented her on the woman and mother she has grown into.
“I am so proud of the woman and mother you have become, my lovely, strong girl @the_ayomikualabi_. She wrote, “Welcome to the world, my darling grandchild. I’ve dreamed of holding you for so long, and now I’m kissing you as I watch you grow.”
The announcement comes after Ayomikun and Oluwole Bantale’s recent private wedding, which was attended by a number of high-profile individuals, including Nollywood actress Funke Akindele.
“Being your grandma is my new favourite role,” Alabi said, describing her new role as a grandmother as her favorite.
