I Married the Man I Rejected 7 Years Ago – Nigerian Woman Shares Her Inspiring Story

A viral TikTok story is going wild after a Nigerian lady revealed she ended up marrying the same man she turned down seven years ago.

In her wedding video, the bride shared how back in 2018 she rejected the man’s proposal — but instead of giving up, he “re-branded” himself, worked hard, and came back swinging. She confessed: “I’m marrying for money, not for love.”

The clip showed her dancing in traditional attire, celebrating the return of “the one I once turned down.” Social media reacted fast with comments like:

    “Omo, the matter choke!”
“He went silent and worked — now we all see the result.”

The message? Sometimes rejection isn’t the end — it’s the start of a comeback. And trust Nigerians to give their commentary.
