The estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, Queen Dami, has petitioned her former boyfriend cum Nigerian singer, Portable, for cyberbullying, blackmail, and threat to life.

According to reports, the petition was filed just hours after Portable asserted that he and Dami are still romantically involved. It was reported that the petition comes a few hours after Portable claimed that he is still romantically linked with Dami.

Portable claims that he and Dami have reconciled and have been dating for some time, but the late monarch’s ex-wife has persisted in publicly denying him.

Dami responded by stating in a petition on her Instagram page that she is not having a sexual relationship with Portable and that any claims of a relationship are untrue.

Queen Dami urged the singer to stop spreading untrue and sexualised rumours about her, calling it offensive, damaging, and unacceptable.

“For the record,” she wrote as the caption for the petition. I want to publicly and clearly address something. My former partner, Portable, and I are not dating. It is totally untrue to say that we are dating or that I go see him for sex.

“I have moved on with my life and don’t want anything to do with him. It is unacceptable, hurtful, and disrespectful to spread sexualised and inaccurate stories about me. Since legal action has been taken, I kindly request that he stop right away and that people refrain from believing or spreading these lies.

“I appreciate everyone’s continued support and respect for my truth. I’ve been living without a portable device for a very long time.
