On Wednesday night, Ned Nwoko shared a document on his 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) handle, adding a new twist to the ongoing marital controversy between the lawmaker and his wife, Regina Daniels. A document shared by Ned Nwoko on his 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday night has added a new twist to the ongoing marital controversy involving the lawmaker and his wife, Regina Daniels.
The document, presented as a written statement by a live-in nurse named Dora, contains allegations about events that she claims occurred during her employment in the Nwoko household beginning in July 2023.
Dora claimed in her statement dated January 9, 2026, that she began to notice changes in Regina Daniels’ behaviour around September 2025.
According to her, the actress sought assistance in obtaining prescription-only drugs and, on occasion, enquired about what she described as lethal dosages of substances such as morphine and pethidine.
The nurse also claimed that she once entered Regina’s room and found opioids, anaesthetic substances, and cannabis spread across a table.
She claimed Regina emptied a ketamine injection onto a flat plate and told her to microwave it to form crystals.
According to the statement, Dora became alarmed by the incident and chose to report it to her employer rather than following the instructions.
The document also addressed allegations of domestic abuse in the household. Dora stated that she never witnessed Senator Nwoko physically assault his wife while she was employed.
“My boss, Sen. Ned Nwoko, does not drink or smoke, and I have not heard of him physically abusing my madam,” the statement read.
She went on to say that the disagreements she witnessed were primarily verbal and revolved around Regina’s alleged drinking and smoking habits.
Dora made it clear that she refused to carry out any of Regina’s requests, insisting that she did not prepare or administer any substances.
She claimed her actions were motivated by safety concerns and professional ethics.
The statement also mentioned claims involving Regina’s friend, Ann Cassie. According to the document, Ann Cassie was allegedly involved in the procurement and mixing of substances before being arrested and charged with multiple offences.
The charges were said to include allegations of an illegal abortion in the past, which Regina had previously mentioned in a social media post, as well as cyberbullying linked to online statements.
Ann Cassie was reportedly granted bail, and the case is expected to proceed through the courts.
