The movie is the first Nollywood production in Africa to surpass N2 billion in box office receipts.
On Instagram, NFC CEO Dr. Ali Nuhu commended the movie’s record-breaking box office performance in important markets, such as the UK and Ireland, where it is the highest-grossing Nollywood film.
In addition to the cast and crew’s commitment, he credited the team’s creative vision, production, and distribution strategies for its success.

The movie is the first Nollywood production in Africa to make over ₦2 billion at the box office.
Released on December 12, 2025, “Behind the Scenes” has not only struck a chord with viewers across the country but has also achieved record-breaking commercial success in important markets, such as the UK and Ireland, where it is currently the highest-grossing Nollywood film.
