Seun Kuti, a Nigerian singer, has clarified claims that he angrily left the traditional wedding of Nigerian TikTok stars Jarvis and Peller.

According to reports, Seun left a wedding in Lagos due to an alleged comparison between Wizkid and his father, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, made by the Master of Ceremonies.

In addition, a video of Seun Kuti navigating the chandelier-lit hall with two others before heading for the exit circulated online.

Addressing the claims in a viral video with Fuji singer Malaika, Seun stated that he left the wedding ceremony to visit the shrine and that bloggers misinterpreted the situation.

Seun Kuti also questioned whether he should have left the event dancing.

He stated, “I left the wedding to go to the shrine, and these bloggers twisted it, saying I was angry. ” Perhaps I should have danced out of the ceremony.

Nigerian comedian and actor Gbadamosi Jonathan, also known as MC Edo Pikin, has criticised Seun Kuti for the drama that occurred.

In a video posted online, Edo Pikin clarified that none of the MCs compared Fela Kuti to Wizkid.

The comedian described the allegation as fabricated, claiming that the MCs were praising Seun, but he didn’t listen.

He also advised Kuti to always be patient and verify before making any decisions.
