“Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, and Olamide Lie A Lot”—Portable

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has alleged that Afrobeats stars Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, and Burna Boy lie about the prices of their jewellery and put young artists under pressure.

It reported that Portable, in a video shared on his social media page, accused his senior colleagues of obstructing the progress of other musicians.

The Zazu crooner said Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Olamide had dominated the Nigerian music industry for over a decade and were obstructing the rise of other superstars.

Portable urged his colleagues to stop putting up-and-coming musicians under pressure by constantly displaying their wealth, adding that he will continue calling them out if they refuse to change.

He said, “Wizkid, Olamide, Davido, and Burna Boy have been at the top for over 10 years and blocking the way for other artists to come up. They also lie a lot; they can say they bought a chain for 1 billion dollars, whereas it might have been given to them for free.”

Meanwhile, Portable has declared himself as the newborn Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Portable released a video in which he compared himself to Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, declaring that no musician today can surpass him.

He said, “Wizkid said he’s the new Fela; has he been to prison before? I am Tony Montana of London. If you say you are bigger than Fela, have you died before, have you gone to prison before, or has life dealt with you before?

“How much do you have in your account? You are this, you are that, and that one is for your pocket.

“Man, I am bigger than you. I’ve been to prison more times than you. I faced it; I was implicated. I spent money and my body.”
