    Diminutive Nollywood actress Ajara Lasisi, popularly known as Aunty Ajara, has died after battling liver disease.

    It should be noted that the movie star was critically ill, and her colleagues, Wunmi Toriola, Foluke Daramola, Mama Nonetwork, and many others, had been soliciting public donations for her treatment.     TeeMony, a Nollywood actor, announced on Thursday via Instagram that Aunty Ajara had died.

    He thanked everyone who had loved the deceased and prayed for her during her ailing condition.

    The post stated, “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved actress, Aunty Ajara. She died overnight after a long and courageous battle with illness.

    “During this difficult time, Ajara received tremendous love, prayers, and financial support from people all over the world. We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported her through prayers, donations, encouragement, and compassion.

    “At this time, we kindly ask family, friends, and the general public to stop sending money to the previously shared account, as it is no longer required.

    “Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, loved ones, and everyone who is grieving this tragic loss. May her soul rest in complete peace.
