Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage name 2Face, has disclosed that he is no longer married to his ex-wife Annie Idibia.

The father of eight reportedly stated earlier that he is focused on his life and career.

The veteran singer said he is focusing on his career and personal path following their split in a recent interview with media personality Seun Okinbaloye.

According to him, “I have moved on from my ex-wife, Annie Idibia; I do my thing and go.”

2Face and Annie became one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity couples after they started dating in the early 2000s.

They became engaged on Valentine’s Day 2012, and in 2008, they welcomed their first daughter, Isabella.

Later that year, the couple got married, and in 2013, they had a white wedding in Dubai.

In 2014, Olivia, their second daughter, was born. Their second daughter, Olivia, was born in 2014.

Fans nationwide were taken aback when 2Face revealed on social media in January 2025 that he and Annie had filed for divorce after being apart for a while.

In order to cope with the public’s reactions to the split, Annie reportedly took a vacation from social media after the announcement of their separation and even removed posts from her accounts.

Videos and images of 2Face’s traditional wedding to Hon. Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, went viral online months after the divorce was made public. The couple were dressed colourfully for the ceremony.

Fans had differing opinions about the marriage to Natasha Osawaru; some questioned why it happened so soon after 2Face and Annie split up.
