Nicki Minaj, an American rapper, has threatened to sue Dr. Penking, a Nigerian influencer, on charges of copyright infringement and cyberbullying.

Penking’s tweet with an old video of Minaj and the caption “Nicki Minaj should understand that she has gotten old and retire” sparked the controversy.

In response, Minaj accused Penking of harassment and questioned whether he had permission to use the video.

“Are you allowed to harass me on this or any other platform using this video that I recorded years ago? She wrote, “You were just added to the suit.

Penking defended his actions by pointing to the right to free speech and saying Minaj ought to retire because she is 43.

He claims that his team is prepared to file a lawsuit, claiming that the video is available to the public and that voicing one’s opinions does not constitute harassment.

“Tell Nicki Minaj that my team and I are prepared and looking forward to her papers,” PenKing wrote. Every constitution in the world guarantees the highest level of freedom of speech and expression, and I always have the right to voice my opinions. Is she elderly? She is forty-three, yes.

This isn’t harassing at all. The information is available to the general public on Wikipedia. Does she need to retire? She ought to, in my opinion. I firmly believe that to be my personal opinion. You are free to agree or disagree. Nicki Minaj or any other “celebrity” will not harass or threaten me.
