Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Mercy Atang has spoken out about her journey to motherhood, revealing that she was once afraid to give birth.

In a Mother’s Day message, she admitted that the prospect of childbirth terrified her, but she is now grateful for the experience.

Queen Mercy emphasised that motherhood has strengthened her focus, resilience, and motivation to create a future for her child.

Despite the difficulties of motherhood, she remains committed to being the best parent she can be.

“Motherhood has been an incredible journey.” Motherhood has been an incredible journey. Funny enough, years ago, I said I never wanted to give birth because I was too scared. Now that I think about it, I simply laugh at myself. Life has a way of altering your mind.

“Now all I want is to be the best mother I can be.”Now all I want is to be the best mother I can be. Motherhood has strengthened my focus, resilience, and motivation to work hard and create a future that my children will be proud of. Even on days when I’m tired and sleep-deprived, the love makes it all worthwhile. Thank you, God, for this wonderful experience. I’m forever grateful.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely mothers in the world.” Take your flowers, Mommies; you deserve them and much more.

“May God continue to bless us with wisdom, strength, patience (which we certainly need), and the grace to continue being the amazing mothers our children require,” she wrote.
