Nigerian singer Spyro has revealed the personal rules that influence his work in the music business, stating that he maintains strict limits on the types of images and partnerships he consents to.
He clarified in a TVC interview that he forbids smoking and nudity in any music videos in which he appears.
He says that since he steers clear of situations or projects that conflict with his values, anyone who works with him must respect those conditions.
He reportedly stated that he declines musical collaborations with explicit or inappropriate content.
Spyro stated that he likes to contribute to songs that have a clean message and are consistent with his personal beliefs.
“You can’t be in a video with me, and you’re smoking,” he declared. That is not possible. You are too nude to be in a video with me. That is not going to occur. When it comes to working with people, I have guidelines.
“To begin with, I can’t be on a song that isn’t clean. Give your life to Christ today. ‘Shoday, give your life to Christ,’ I said. He advised me to carry on with mine while he dealt with his. He is coming to Christ even if he is not with him. I work in this field for that reason. It’s a slow process.
