Temi Otedola, a Nollywood actress, has stated that she does not intend to share pictures of her child on social media because she wishes to keep them out of the spotlight.
She reportedly mentioned this in a How Far podcast episode.
Temi, the wife of musician Mr Eazi, clarified that sharing a child with a large online audience—where content can reach millions of people—is not the same as posting the child to a small number of followers.
The Citation actress stated that she finds it unsettling that children’s videos on the internet frequently receive significant attention and are saved by many people.
As a result, she has decided to keep her future child out of her online persona.
Temi went on to say that she does not see the need to expose her child to social media because they did not choose to lead a public life.
“Posting your child when you have 100 followers and 1 million followers isn’t the same thing; the interest is different,” she stated. I see kids’ content on TikTok with 30k saves and ask myself who’s actually saving this. My child is not a part of my public persona, so I won’t post about them. My child hasn’t chosen to be public, so I won’t incorporate them into my public life.
Right now, Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi are expecting their first child together.
A few months after their 2025 wedding celebrations in Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, the couple announced their pregnancy on social media in May.
