Mo Bimpe has shared her experience about the hurtful treatment she experienced before becoming a mother, revealing that some people deliberately stopped inviting her to events involving children.

The actress shared the experience in a social media post while offering encouragement to women who are currently waiting to conceive.

According to Bimpe, she was left out of baby showers, naming ceremonies and children’s birthday parties simply because she did not have a child at the time. She said the discovery that some of those responsible were people she personally knew made the experience even more painful.

“There was a time when I wasn’t invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies, children’s birthdays, or anything related to kids,” she said

She therefore urged people to be more considerate towards women who are yet to have children, warning against actions that could add to the emotional burden of those going through the journey.

“Please don’t make it harder by excluding people. A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration,” she said.

Reflecting on her own experience, the actress encouraged women who are still trying to conceive to remain hopeful and not allow their present circumstances to define their future. “There was a time I had no child. Today, I am a mother of triplets,” Bimpe said.

She added that her personal journey had strengthened her belief that circumstances can change and urged women waiting for motherhood to continue holding on to hope.“The same God who remembered me has not forgotten you,” she added.
