A Nigerian man’s loyalty test went totally sideways — and now his best friend is married to the woman he once asked to date.
The story began back in 2017, when Usman Zannah revealed on social media that he asked his best friend Aliyu to “go test” his then-girlfriend’s faithfulness. The aim? See if she would stay loyal or switch sides.
But fate had other plans.
“Today marks exactly two years since I sent my best friend Aliyu to go and try to date my girlfriend… They are now married with one child,” Usman had posted in 2019.
Fast forward to October 23, 2025 — Usman returned with a new update, revealing the situation had grown: “3 kids now and counting,” he wrote.
What Went Wrong?
What began as a calculated experiment turned into a full-blown love story for Aliyu and the woman. Instead of proving his point, Usman found himself out-cheated by his own plan.
