Nancy Isime, an actress and media personality, has suggested that truly loving children may mean choosing not to have them due to life’s challenges.
The actress remarked on a recent appearance on the Thanks For Coming podcast, which went viral on X on Tuesday, in response to a question about how many children she wants to have.
According to Isime, the difficulties people face in life make her wonder if having children is always the best decision.
“What’s the craziest thing about loving children? I believe that if you truly love children, you would not want to bring them into this world,” she said.
“Aren’t you suffering today? Is Earth not ghetto? Are you not going through a lot? Don’t you sometimes wish you weren’t born? Did you ask to be here? Thank you, and I rest my case,” she enquired.
Despite her comments, Isime stated that she has not ruled out becoming a parent.
“No, everyone has to suffer; they will come and suffer for themselves; they will not be able to escape it.”
