Blessing Obasi, a Nollywood actress, recalled her husband’s reaction in 2017 when she received a higher pay for a movie role than he did.

According to Naija News, Blessing, who is married to her colleague Stan Nze, expressed excitement during an interview on Morayo Afolabi’s YouTube show about being offered ₦600,000 for a role in the Castle and Castle movie.

The actress said she told Stan, her boyfriend at the time, and he prayed for her, noting that it was only the beginning.

According to Blessing Obasi, Stan, despite earning ₦100,000 at the time, prayed for her and reminded her of her greatness.

She stated, “In 2017, the owners of the Castle and Castle movies offered me 600k as my pay, and I was very excited.”

“I informed my husband, who was still my boyfriend at the time. He looked at me, held my hands, prayed for me, and said, “You are a star, and this is just the beginning.”

“My husband’s highest pay at the time for a role was $100,000, and I was going to earn more than him, but he prayed for me from the heart and reminded me of how great I am.”
