David Adeleke, also known as Davido, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has expressed his fear of not knowing when to stop making music.
Davido expressed in a viral video that it’s scary to see former celebrities fall from grace.
Davido expressed a desire to build a therapy centre for celebrities who have left the spotlight, adding that he frequently prays to God for the right time to retire from music.
He stated, “If I could build anything, it would be a therapy centre for well-known and successful individuals. Because it’s insane to be on top of the world one moment and then fall apart the next.
“Even in football, you win the World Cup, the Champions League, and other trophies, and people still don’t think it’s sufficient. For example, look at my good friend Ronaldo; despite everything he’s done for football, they still mocked him for missing the World Cup.
“That’s my greatest fear.” I have worked so hard for myself to be able to spoil it with something. I pray to God every day for the right time to pack it up.”
